Loading the draft room...
The draft day room is the draft as it airs. The card at the top shows the team on the clock and when the next pick is due, and the ticker lists the latest eight picks, newest first. The page updates itself when each pick is due, and stops once the last pick is in. No account is needed.
Up next lists the next ten teams in the order, by name only. The order is set by last season's results, so it gives nothing away; who a team takes is never shown before its pick airs, anywhere on the site. A team with no open roster spot passes, and a pass shows only once the next pick is in.
Team needs are open spots on each team's 53-man shape: how many players it had at each position before the draft, plus the picks aired so far, against what a full roster carries. That is the same measure the teams use when they pick, so a team short at a position usually looks there first. The needs only change when a pick airs.
The picks list can be narrowed by round, team and position, and every pick links to his player page and his team. A pick who came up through a youth camp a player funds has a Camp alum tag that links to that camp's page. The full draft page has the combine numbers and, once the draft is over, every team's class grade.
The first draft airs at the end of this season, right after the championship game. Come back then to watch every pick come in live.
