Box scores for screen readers
Box scores and game tables are always built for screen readers: each table has a caption, labelled columns and a row for each player or team, and a short summary comes first. There is nothing to turn on.
How the accessibility settings work
Field colors has a colorblind-safe choice. It puts the two teams in a deep blue and a pale amber, which differ in lightness as well as color, so they stay apart whatever kind of color vision you have. The blue team's jersey numbers also sit in a ring, so you can tell the teams apart by shape too. Numbers stay readable on both.
Motion follows your device's reduce motion setting unless you choose otherwise. With reduced motion, players step from spot to spot instead of gliding, the camera cuts instead of panning, and nothing on the page animates or pulses. Play and Pause, Next play, the clock and every stat still work.
Box scores and the other game tables are always built for screen readers: every table has a caption and labelled columns, each row starts with the player or team, short labels like YDS carry their full words, and a short summary of both teams comes before the tables.
Your choices are saved in this browser, so you do not need to sign in to use them. The Accessibility link is at the bottom of every page.
